As an “aspiring Olympian,” you will be provided with ten clips of five shots each, so there will be plenty of opportunity to learn and improve. You will be provided with highly accurate rifles, the very same rifles used during the Olympic Games.  From the New York Times, Dec. 2007: Of the many sports that haven’t captivated Americans, few baffle like the biathlon, a combination of Nordic skiing (or biking in the summertime) and gunplay. One reason we haven’t embraced it is that there are few places to try it. At (Soldier Hollow) amateurs can try it out. It was the venue for the 2002 Olympics cross country skiing and biathlon and is about a 25 minute drive southof Park City. No experience is necessary. Programs range from one hour introductions to... all-day gear rentals for groomed trails (for bicycles in the summertime)...”.
Don’t forget your camera! While shooting at the Olympic range, everyone will wear a bib that was actually won during the 2002 Olympic games. The experience ends on our biathlon Official Awards Podium where everyone is awarded a certificate suitable for framing.

Fit Every Need & Budget
Bronze level: Instruction, ammunition and rifle use at the paralympic range (10 meters with $2500 German air rifles), mini competition, photo ops and certificates. One hour session: $29. for adults, $19 for youth (ages 6-17), minimum two.
Silver Level: All Bronze elements plus use of mountain bikes/helmets, ski equipment, or snow shoes. Fun team or individual competition. Two hour session: $69. for adults, $49 for youth (ages 6-17), minimum two.
Gold Level: All Silver / Bronze elements plus an upgrade to the full Olympic Range and the use of Olympic (22 cal.) rifles with safety clinic. Two hour session: $129. for adults, $79 for youth (ages 10-17), min. two.
